COMPREHENSIVE CODING EDUCATION PROGRAM / PREPARATION FOR NATIONAL CODING CERTIFICATION / JANUARY 13, 2012 through JUNE 22, 2012 – This comprehensive course is a series of real-time web and telephone classes designed for coders and billers. CCEP prepares students to take a national physician coding certification examination through AHIMA or AAPC. Classes encompass coding, documentation and compliance education and provide limited instruction in medical terminology and anatomy related to coding assignments. Also emphasized are the use of references, coding tools, payer/reimbursement issues, and compliance and ethics considerations. Application and student/sponsoring employer agreement deadline is December 9, 2011. Class size is limited, registrations accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
