Bonnie Brown-Lewis, RN, CCS-P, Senior Consultant, has been teaching and consulting since 1989. She has served as a national physician office consultant and seminar speaker for a variety of firms include St. Anthony�s Publishing and Med Learn. She presents over 30 coding and specialty seminars each year for the Idaho Medical Association.

Bonnie graduated from Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center School of Nursing in 1973. She has worked in a variety of nursing settings in L. A., California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Salt Lake City, Utah and in Twin Falls, Idaho where she has lived for the past 20 years.

As a physician reimbursement consultant, Bonnie visits physician offices, clinics and emergency rooms, Community Health Centers and FQHCs to evalute the issues that directly and indirectly affect reimbursement and HCFA compliance. Shawn R. Hafer, CCS-P, CPC, is a Certified Professional Coder and serves as the Operations Director and Staff Educator. She has more than 10 years of coding and reimbursement experience which includes neurology, family practice and plastic and hand surgery. She has taught the Introduction to Medical Coding at Boise State University. Shawn has done independent training in physician offices. She has comprehensive experience in group training of medical and dental software applications. She is uniquely qualified to evaluate and educate clinic operations due to her diverse management skills and experience as a physician coder and administrative assistant along with her knowledge of systems integration and billing software applications.
